Self Portrait

This depiction compares the difficulty of finding oneself with being submerged underwater. Underwater, just like in my quest for self, I feel both helplessly alone and increasingly more stressed with every breath not taken. This very stress, complemented by a growing pressure associated with deeper dives, is communicated in the chaotic strokes and an aggressive color palette.
